Following the Challenge Cup Final, the rugby league focus is shifted back to Super League and the NRL and here’s how you can watch every game.
Huge viewing figures were recorded for the Challenge Cup Final on Saturday as Hull KR edged Warrington Wolves in dramatic fashion to win 8-6.
It’s been confirmed that an average viewership of around a million watched the game with that peaking at 1.2 million, a steep increase from the 2024 final which drew an average of 800,000 and a peak of 900,000.
The Super League record viewing figures for games outside of covid was hit earlier this year when Warrington played Wigan in Las Vegas, and Wire will have a chance of being in another heavily-watched game on Saturday when they travel to face Leeds Rhinos.
With this week’s action starting on Thursday morning and running till Sunday afternoon, here are the details for all the rugby league on TV.
Thursday 12th June
There’s no Super League on Thursday so it means any rugby league fix will have to be cured with some NRL action. Thankfully for those in the UK, it’s not an early start as Cronulla take on St George at 10:50 am.
Friday 13th June
Friday morning’s NRL action sees the Titans take on the Sea Eagles but Super League fans might be more keen on the return of the competition after a week off. Challenge Cup winners Hull KR will take on Catalans at Craven Park with the reception set to be incredible. Over in the West side of Hull, John Cartwright’s side host Castleford Tigers.
Saturday 14th June
Saturday is the most action-packed day with five games including Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves with plenty of curiosity about how Wire will bounce back from such a devastating defeat. Elswhere in Super League, Wigan travel to Huddersfield whilst there’s also Championship action with Toulouse streaming their clash against London Broncos. Dom Young, Kai Pearce-Paul, John Bateman and Herbie Farnworth will all also be in action Down Under.
Sunday 15th June
Sunday sees Souths take on NRL leaders Canterbury in the morning before Wakefield host Leigh in a game that’s live on BBC and could be be huge in the play-off race. Salford also host St Helens.
