Rugby League on TV cameras Super League

Here is how you can watch all 18 televised rugby league matches coming up over the weekend, as Round 20 in Super League finalises and the NRLW Magic Round takes place in Australia.

Thursday 31st July:

Thursday morning sees Parramatta Eels host Melbourne Storm in the NRL, as the visitors look to re-take a place in the top two of the ladder. They will have to do it without 2024 Dally M Winner Jahrome Hughes, who picked up a shoulder injury last week, but star full back Ryan Papenhuyzen returns after four weeks.

In the evening, 12th placed Salford host table-toppers Hull KR, as round 20 continues its split round.

Friday 1st August:

Two NRL games take place on Friday morning, as NZ Warriors take on The Dolphins, and Brisbane Broncos take on South Sydney Rabbitohs, who sit bottom of the league.

Herbie Farnworth’s Dolphins need a win to cement themselves into the top eight, and a win would provisionally push them up to sixth in the ladder, above the Broncos.

In Super League, two games kick off at the same time, as high-flying Leigh Leopards host Warrington Wolves. Leigh can reduce their three-point gap between them and Wigan back to one point should they defeat Sam Burgess’ men.

St Helens also face Castleford Tigers to round off the split week. Points difference means that any margin of victory over the Tigers would put St Helens above Leeds Rhinos in the table, moving them into the top four.

Saturday 2nd August:

There is a festival of rugby league happening in Australia, as Magic Round in the NRLW takes place. All 12 teams will compete at Newcastle’s McDonald Jones Stadium and over two days, providing some very early starts for fans here in the UK.

Day one of Magic Round kicks off at 3:15am UK time, as Gold Coast Titans face Canterbury Bulldogs before Wests Tigers take on Sydney Roosters.

2nd placed Brisbane then take on 5th placed Cronulla in arguably the tie of the round.

In the men’s competition, there are also three fixtures for you to enjoy, including a vital matchup between Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney in which both sides need a win as they race for the top eight.

Sunday 3rd August:

Day two of Magic Round starts even earlier over here, as a 2:50am kick off time sees North Queensland take on NZ Warriors.

Georgia Roche’s Newcastle Knights take on Hollie-Mae Dodd’s Canberra Raiders before Parramatta Eels and St George Illawarra round off the event.

In the NRL, Wests host second placed Canterbury, and Cronulla face North Queensland to round off the culminate the action from Down Under.

Sunday afternoon see’s two of the Championship’s heavy hitters do battle, as York RLFC host Oldham, live on the Knights’ YouTube channel. York are unbeaten in their last thirteen matches in all competitions, but will be wary of Oldham’s threat after they were heavily beaten by them in the reverse fixture on the opening weekend of the season.
