Competitive rugby league for Super League sides will be back on our screens this week as top flight clubs enter the Challenge Cup.
Reigning Champions Hull KR will face the competition’s lowest-ranked side, Lock Lane, at Craven Park, whilst neighbours Hull FC take on Salford RLFC.
Barring Toulouse, all Super League sides will be in action, and two of the ties have been selected for broadcast.
London Broncos will welcome Bradford Bulls down to the capital, in what is set to be a mouthwatering tie between two evenly-matched teams.
Bradford, who are back in Super League, have drawn the short straw and have been paired with the Broncos who, after another strong win this weekend, look to be the Championship title favourites.
That game will be shown live on the BBC Sport website, app and on BBC iPlayer, and it is one that you certainly don’t want to miss.
Also selected for coverage is Widnes Vikings’ tie with Leeds Rhinos.
Brad Arthur’s side travel to the DCBL Stadium for the first time in eight years, and it will be a reunion for star hooker Jarrod O’Connor, as he returns to the club for the first time since his exit in 2019.
That game will be shown on The Sportsman’s YouTube Channel, and will be one of three fixtures to be broadcast on Saturday.
The other two games that day come from the NRL’s pre-season, as the Australian competition returns for the first time in 2026.
Kicking us off, we have two Las Vegas dress rehearsals, as the four teams making the trip to the Sin City will go head to head.
Canterbury Bulldogs will host North Queensland Cowboys, before St George Illawarra Dragons take on Newcastle Knights.
UK fans will be pleased to know that, between now and the NRL Grand Final, there will be fixtures from the Australian competition each week, meaning more rugby league for you to enjoy.
