How to watch rugby league on TV this week including Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR and St Helens vs Hull FC

Rugby league on TV with Super League and NRL shown live

Here is how you can watch all 21 broadcasted rugby league matches this week, and there are some heavyweight clashes from all over of the world that will have fans glued to their seats

Thursday 21st August:

Thursday morning’s NRL action comes from Wayne Bennett’s South Sydney, as his side look to build on their two-match win streak against St George Illawarra.

Super League perhaps starts with the biggest tie of the round first, as Leeds Rhinos welcome Hull KR to AMT Headingley for the second time this season. Both sides have won one match against each other this year, but it feels Thursday’s clash is their most important meeting for a long time. A Rovers win would all but confirm their League Leaders Shield win, whilst Leeds would move level on points with second place Wigan with victory.

Friday 22nd August:

NRL leaders Canberra Raiders and Penrith Panthers do battle as both sides look to head into the playoffs on top form. Penrith would move back into the top four with a win, as the Raiders look for their first minor premiership since 1990. That is followed by another juicy tie as Melbourne take on Canterbury Bulldogs.

Super League offers two Friday night match choices this week, as Leigh Leopards host Salford Red Devils, in a match confirmed by Salford to be going ahead. At the same time, St Helens could leap into a provisional second with a win over Hull FC.

Saturday 23rd August:

Three matches from both NRLW and NRL give fans plenty of choice for their Saturday morning viewing. Canterbury vs Canberra, Gold Coast vs St George Illawarra and Parramatta Eels vs Sydney Roosters are this week’s NRLW fixtures, whilst Manly Sea Eagles vs The Dolphins, Gold Coast vs NZ Warriors and Parramatta v the Roosters men’s side all take place on an action-packed morning of rugby league.

In the evening, Catalans Dragons return home for the first time in over a month to face Castleford Tigers. Meanwhile, there is some Championship action available to watch as Toulouse Olympique broadcast their match with York Knights in a top of the table clash on YouTube.

Sunday 24th August:

Two NRLW and NRL double headers kick Sunday’s action off as Newcastle Knights face Brisbane Broncos and West Tigers take on North Queensland Cowboys. Sandwiched in the middle is another NRLW tie as NZ Warriors host Cronulla Sharks.

Two Super League ties round off the weekend’s action. Huddersfield Giants look to get their second win over Warrington Wolves this season, whilst a match that could have playoff ramifications sees Wakefield Trinity travel to Wigan Warriors.
