There are a huge 22 rugby league matches on our screens this week, with games across the Super League, NRL, Championship and NRLW all being broadcast across multiple platforms.
Thursday 17th July:
The weekend’s action kicks off in Australia, as the race for the NRL top eight starts to heat up. Kristian Woolf’s Dolphins host North Queensland. A win for the Redcliffe side would boost them from 10th to 7th on the league table.
On Thursday night, arguably the biggest game of the week is the 3rd vs 4th fixture in Super League as Leigh Leopards visit St Helens. The two form teams of the competition do battle as they look to close the gap to the top two.
Friday 18th July:
Friday morning sees two more NRL fixtures, as Cronulla Sharks face Sydney Roosters before Penrith Panthers host South Sydney Rabbitohs.
In the evening, two Super League matches take place as Huddersfield Giants take on Wakefield Trinity and Leeds Rhinos host Salford Red Devils.
Saturday 19th July:
There are nine matches taking place on Saturday, starting off with Canberra Raiders facing Parramatta Eels in the NRLW. That is before both their men’s side do battle in the NRL.
Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra will also have a double header on Saturday morning, as their women’s and men’s side face off live on Sky Sports. Cronulla Sharks will also take on North Queensland in the NRLW.
Melbourne will look to re-gain top spot in the NRL as they take on Manly Sea Eagles.
Saturday afternoon sees three matches in the northern hemisphere take place. Wigan Warriors will host Hull FC in a match that will be broadcast on BBC and Sky Sports.
The first broadcasted Championship match of the weekend sees Toulouse and Featherstone do battle in France. That game can be watched live on YouTube.
France then plays host to the final game on Saturday as Catalans take on Hull KR.
Sunday 20th July:
Wests Tigers and Gold Coast Titans will play out an NRLW and NRL double header, before Newcastle Knights and NZ Warriors do the same. Brisbane Broncos vs Sydney Roosters in the NRLW is another early-morning option from down under.
On Sunday afternoon, Castleford Tigers will look to bounce back from their defeat to Salford when they host Warrington Wolves.
The final match of the weekend is another Championship clash, as top of the table York will broadcast their game against Barrow Raiders live on YouTube.
