How to watch rugby league on TV this week featuring State of Origin and Hull KR v St Helens

How to watch rugby league on TV including State of Origin tests

With fifteen games to watch this weekend, there’s plenty of rugby league on TV from Super League, the NRL and both the men’s and women’s State of Origin tests.

For a midweek treat, there are two State of Origin games with the first men’s test on Wednesday morning at 11:10am and the third instalment of the women’s series on Thursday at 10:45am.

Thursday night’s Super League match sees in-form Leigh Leopards travel to Huddersfield Giants, with the Leopards wanting to get their season back on track, following their defeat to Hull FC last time out.

Friday sees the first NRL game of the weekend between St George Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights, followed by three Super League games.

Challenge Cup finalists Hull KR and Warrington Wolves are both in action at home against St Helens and Castleford Tigers respectively, and Salford host Wigan, which could be another heavy defeat for the Red Devils.

On Saturday, there’s a triple bill of NRL games to start off the weekend, before you can watch Leeds v Wakefield on BBC2 at 4:30pm. Hull FC travel to Catalans for a 5:30pm kick-off too.

Sunday sees another trio of NRL games, including a bottom-of-the-table clash between Penrith and Parramatta, where the reigning champions sit rock bottom of the current table. A win over the Eels would see the Panthers jump up to 11th if all results go their way across the weekend.
