There is plenty of Super League to consume this week but the pick of the rugby league to watch on TV over the next few days is the World Club Challenge between Hull KR and Brisbane Broncos.
Contested for the first time in two years, NRL champions Brisbane will take on Super League champions Hull KR at the MKM Stadium on Thursday evening for the battle to be crowned the best rugby league club in the world.
Hosted at the stadium of KR’s rivals, Hull FC, the MKM Stadium will be sold out but for those who weren’t fortunate enough to bag tickets, there are two ways to watch the game live on TV.
Sky Sports will air the game on both Sky Sports+ and Sky Sports Mix, whilst the match is also available on free-to-air TV with BBC Three broadcasting the game.
That is the only match on Sunday but Friday and Saturday both boast five games with the NRL pre-season entering it’s final round and Super League entering round two.
Bradford Bulls host Catalans Dragons as Super League rugby returns to Odsal for the first time since 2014, with that game available on Sky Sports Action. Leeds Rhinos and St Helens will look to get their first wins of the season when they take on York Knights and Leigh Leopards respectively.
The weekend’s Super League action sees Toulouse host Castleford before Wigan play Hull FC in the only game of round two between unbeaten sides. Televised Rugby League in the UK concludes on Sunday with Huddersfield hosting Wakefield.
