This week sees plenty of blockbuster rugby league action, with the State of Origin decider taking place before Super League returns to free-to-air television on the BBC. Here is how you can watch all 21 matches.
Wednesday 9th July:
Kicking off this week of fixtures is State of Origin Game III. The series, played between Queensland and New South Wales, is currently locked at 1-1, and is set to be another thriller. Will the Blues make home advantage count, or will the Maroons complete a series comeback after losing the first match?
Thursday 10th July:
The first NRLW match of the week takes place as Wests Tigers take on Canterbury Bulldogs. The Tigers suffered a 28-4 loss in Round 1, whilst the Bulldogs overcame the tough test of Newcastle Knights.
Attention then turns to Super League, as the race for the top six heats up. Hull FC host Wakefield as sixth take on seventh in the league. After strong performances over the last month, Trinity will be hoping that FC’s lacklustre home form continues.
Friday 11th July:
The NRL returns on Friday, as Kristian Woolf’s Dolphins travel to Cronulla Sharks. Both sides are level on points, but points difference puts them either side of the top eight finals spots.
We then have a double header at AMT Headingley as Leeds Rhinos Women take on St Helens Women in the WSL. That will take place before the Men’s side do battle for the third time this season.
The other Super League game on Friday night sees Wigan Warriors look to get back to winning ways against Huddersfield Giants.
Saturday 12th July:
Saturday will be an early start for the diehard rugby league fans, with three NRLW games taking place. Starting at 3:45am, you can see England Internationals Hollie-Mae Dodd, Francesca Goldthorp and Georgia Roche show their talent ahead of the World Cup next year.
Super League then takes centre stage as Leigh Leopards, who pulled off a huge win against local rivals Wigan last week, face another tough test as they welcome top of the table Hull KR. That game will be live on both Sky Sports and the BBC Red Button. After that, we head to the South of France as Catalans host Warrington Wolves.
Sunday 13th July:
The remaining two NRLW games take place as NZ Warriors host Parramatta and St George Illawarra take on the Sydney Roosters.
Two of Sky’s three NRL picks for this week will then be shown live, as the Eels’ men take on Penrith before Gold Coast play Brisbane.
The final match of the week sees Salford Red Devils look to get their second win of the season, as they host Castleford Tigers.
