Super League is officially back this week, and with extra teams in the division for 2026, it means there will be more rugby league available to us on TV.
There are a huge 17 matches starting from today [Thursday] across the weekend, including Hull KR’s clash with York Knights this evening, as the treble winners get their title defence underway.
Of the 17 games, eight come from the NRL pre-season challenge, and there are a number of notable faces in the teams that fans of Super League will no doubt be looking out for.
The action begins at 9am on Thursday morning, as Kristian Woolf’s The Dolphins take on Gold Coast Titans, in a game that sees Morgan Knowles make his unofficial NRL debut.
The aforementioned clash between the Knights and Robins is this evening’s viewing, as Willie Peters’ looks to head into the World Club Challenge with a win.
On Friday, there are two ties from down under, as Canberra Raiders meet Melbourne Storm and North Queensland Cowboys take on Penrith Panthers.
In Super League, Perpignan plays host to the tie between Catalans and Huddersfield, before Leigh Leopards, Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves and St Helens are all in action.
On Saturday, there are six matches available, four from the NRL and two from Super League – including Bradford Bulls’ return to the competition, where they take on Hull FC.
Sunday sees the annual NRL clash between the NZ Maori and Indigenous all-stars, before Castleford Tigers see out round one of Super League when they face Wigan Warriors at the Onebore Stadium.
