Following the news that Magic Weekend would return to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium next year, here is the full list of everything we know about the 2027 Super League season so far.
This year’s Magic smashed the all-time attendance record by just under 15,000, with a total of 82,925 fans embarking on Merseyside and Castres for the two-day event.
That interest and support have seen the sport move quickly to secure the facility for next year, though 2027 will see Magic played earlier in the season.
Scheduled for the first May bank holiday, Super League will travel to the Hill Dickinson on May 1 and 2, for what will be the 20th anniversary of the first-ever Magic Weekend.
That becomes the latest event to be penned into the 2027 calendar, joining the Challenge Cup Final, which will be played at the start of June.
June 5 will be the date for next year’s Wembley showpiece, as again the Men’s and Women’s competitions will culminate at the national stadium.
Going back earlier in the year though, it has already been confirmed that Bradford Bulls will take on Leigh Leopards in Las Vegas, as part of the NRL’s bumper weekend in the Sin City.
That game will take place at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday 27 February, and they will join Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers, Parramatta Eels and Gold Coast Titans in making the trip over.
We then move to the other end of the season to the Super League Grand Final, and whilst it hasn’t been officially confirmed, comments from RL Commercial’s Rhodri Jones to the media back in November told us when next year’s Final would be.
He said: “Instead of it [2026 Grand Final] being on the 10th of October, second Saturday, it’s now on the first Saturday of October, and that’s going to be the same now certainly from 2027 through to 2030.”
With that, we can deduce that the 2027 Grand Final will be played on October 2.

Every confirmed 2027 rugby league event including leaked Dublin date
Lastly, it has not been announced by Super League yet, but Sky Sports’ lead rugby league presenter, Brian Carney, looks to have leaked the dates for when some sides will travel to Dublin to take the competition on the road.
It has been heavily rumoured that Warrington Wolves, Wigan Warriors, Wakefield Trinity and Hull FC will all travel to over to Ireland next year, and Carney, who is a proud Irishman himself, could have revealed when the games will be played.
Speaking after the game between Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls at Everton, he said: “The Magic Weekend 2027 will be played on the May Bank Holiday weekend, so the 1st and 2nd of May.
“It comes a week after the Super League games in Dublin, and it will be back here at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool.”
That tells us that the games are set for the weekend of April 24th and 25th, though confirmation is still needed by the RFL on that one.

DON’T LIKE THE NEW FORMAT, WE ALL KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO PREDICT THE 6 NUMBERS SO I WAS HAPPY TO STICK WITH THE ORIGINAL SET UP OF 1 CHANCE TO WIN INSTEAD OF 2, BUT AT LEAST WITH THE ORIGINAL PRIZES YOU COULD WIN £30,£140 & £1750 INSTEAD OF £1,£10 & £50 MAKING IT MORE WORTHWHILE THAN THE PRESENT AMOUNTS AND YOU HAD MORE CHANCE OF GETTING 3,4 OR 5 NUMBERS UP.
