Hodgson on Hull man’s future

Brett Hodgson has told the Hull Daily Mail that forward Josh Bowden still has a future at Hull FC after he was offered to rival Super League sides in 2021.

Hodgson said: ““We move forward and Josh is part of our squad and plans this season and he’ll be treated like everyone else.”

Warrington injury problems

One Warrington Wolves star has been ruled out for a month in a devastating blow, according to the Warrington Guardian.

Former Hull FC halfback Marc Sneyd has told the Hull Daily Mail all about his time at the club.

“It think it will just be strange,” he told Hull Live. “Hull has took the bulk of my career and I loved every minute of it there.

Ex-Wakefield man gets new club

A former Wakefield Trinity man has found a surprising new club after being left in limbo for the past few months.

He had initially announced his desire to stay in Super League, but that was no longer an option. Read more here.

NRL club sends chief to watch Pryce

Newcastle Knights sent recruitment chiefs to watch Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce against Wigan Warriors last night, according to Rugby League Live.

Rugby League Live reported that the Knights are now the frontrunners to secure Pryce’s signature, with reports from Down Under that Canberra are at the front of the queue believed to be wide of the mark.

Hastings bad tackle

Former Wigan Warriors star Jackson Hastings has been on the receiving end of a shocking tackle on his debut for the Wests Tigers, Fox Sports has revealed.

Hastings made the headlines during his stay in Super League with some incredible performances with both the Salford Red Devils and Wigan. Watch the tackle here.

Leeds man latest

The Leeds Rhinos website has provided the latest on one of their stars following a bad injury in the club’s defeat to Catalans Dragons on Thursday night.

Former Super League referee Richard Silverwood has called out a rule that he feels needs to be scrapped.

Warrington Wolves star Danny Walker has revealed the two clubs he rejected before making the move to the Wolves.

Former Leeds Rhinos forward Ryan Bailey has fired shots at the RFL’s crackdown of foul play.

Jake Connor has been included in Hull FC’s 21-man squad for their fixture against Salford Red Devils today.

Not only has the fullback been suspended for two games, but he also suffered a broken hand less than a month ago. Read more here.

Smith verdict on Gale ban

Former referee Ian Smith has told Serious About Rugby League about the ins and outs of Luke Gale’s five-match ban.

Gale was handed the ban after being sent to the RFL’s Operational Tribunal after his challenge on Jonny Lomax. Read more here.

Hermes and Kevin Sinfield have had an inadvertent run-in following an argument over a painting, the Oldham Times has reported.

A Manly Sea Eagles forward has put Super League clubs on red alert following comments made to Fox Sports.
