Five-match ban for forward

The Operational Rules Tribunal met last night and handed out a five-match ban to a forward.

But, interestingly, the ORT also upgraded Huddersfield Giants star Jack Cogger’s ban for a ‘frivolous challenge’. Read more here.

Five chasing Pearce-Paul

According to the Daily Telegraph, five clubs are in for Wigan Warriors star Kai Pearce-Paul.

It follows the news that he has reportedly teamed up with a leading agent in rugby league. Read more here.

KR for Lovodua?

Hull Live, yesterday, released an article stating five possible replacements for Hull KR hooker Matt Parcell – even though his departure is still up in the air.

Well, one of those names mentioned is Hull FC man Joe Lovodua who has started the 2022 season like a house on fire.

RFL make decision on St Helens

The RFL have made a decision on St Helens concerning Kristian Woolf’s choosing of an understrength side in their loss to Castleford Tigers last weekend.

In the past, teams such as Saints and Leeds Rhinos have been punished for doing so. Read more here.

An Australian journalist has tipped outcast Blake Ferguson with a big move, according to Fox Sports.

Not only has Zak Hardaker broken his silence in the media, he has also done so on his own socials.

Disciplinary Match Review Panel chief Paul Cullen has launched a tirade against former Super League players who have complained that the game is getting too soft.

Kear backed after leaving

Veteran head coach John Kear has left his post at Bradford Bulls by mutual consent following a series of Championship losses.

Sneyd’s move

Marc Sneyd has finally made the move out of Yorkshire after planning to do so before the 2022 Super League season.

Refereeing appointments

The latest refereeing appointments have been made with the latest on Chris Kendall revealed as Marcus Griffiths returns to Super League.

Hull KR head coach Tony Smith has reacted to claims that he will be heading to Leeds Rhinos at the end of the 2022 season.

Smith will, of course, be leaving Rovers following his shock announcement last week, but there has been no confirmation of his future beyond 2022 yet. Read more here.

Former Leeds Rhinos teammate Ryan Hall has given his verdict on Zak Hardaker’s move back to Headingley.

Castleford Tigers head coach Lee Radford has revealed just how close he came to signing Zak Hardaker after the fullback was made available. Read more here.

There has been news released on Huddersfield Giants star Theo Fages who has missed his side’s last few games.

A former Wigan star has been arrested on charges of assault, according to the Daily Telegraph.
