Former Super League and Castleford Tigers winger Greg Eden has landed a new club to continue his career, just weeks after departing Bradford Bulls.
Eden joined Kurt Haggerty’s side on a month-long contract, helping the side out during their horror injury crisis.
Playing two matches, against both Hull KR and Wigan Warriors, Eden crossed for a try on debut against the Robins, but once the likes of Jayden Okunbor and Connor Wynne returned from injury he was no longer required by the Odsal outfit.
The former Castleford, Huddersfield and Hull KR man made his debut in 2011, and represented Brisbane Broncos in the NRL in 2016.
Scoring 112 tries in 122 appearances for the Tigers, Eden has also represented Featherstone, North Wales Crusaders and Halifax in his Championship career.
He will add another second-tier side to his CV, after joining Sheffield Eagles on a deal until the end of the season.
The versatile back will be in contention to make his Eagles debut as early as this week, with Sheffield taking on Barrow Raiders next Saturday afternoon.
