Goole Vikings confirm 2026 squad numbers as Super League veterans land jerseys

Championship

Goole Vikings have confirmed their shirt numbers for the upcoming season, and there are plenty of former Super League players in their side.

Scott Taylor, a former prop at Hull KR, Hull FC and Wigan, is at the helm after the club formed for it’s first ever campaign in 2025.

They finished 7th in League One, accumulating eight wins across their maiden season.

Heading into their second year, their recruitment has been majorly focused on bringing in youth players, with many youngsters making the switch from Super League academies.

However, their highest-profile signing of the off-season has to be veteran Liam Watts – and he will wear squad number 30 for the year, the highest of the playing group.

Other notable names in the squad include Brett Ferres, the former Leeds, Castleford and Huddersfield forward. He is the captain of the side and will don the 11 jersey this year.

Jamaican international Keenen Tomlinson will wear four, whilst the former Hull FC duo of Jeylan Hodgson and Nick Staveley will wear nine and 12 respectively.

Shane Tuohey, a reserves Grand Final winner with Leeds will wear 20, whilst ex-Warrington playmaker Oli Morgan (14), Castleford Tigers pair Brad Bullock (25) and Leroy Ncube (27) have also joined the squad.

Ex-Hull KR pair Connor Barley and Adam Rusling will wear 18 and 29 respectively, whilst Jack Miller replaces the departed Reece Dean in the number seven spot.

Second tier veteran Josh Gudzek will wear one, whilst former Featherstone back Manoa Wacokecoke will don 28.
