Rugby League News: Gale’s next club, three clubs want Brodie Croft, Warrington beat five to new Wigan signing & Burgess to Super League?

It has been a busy 24 hours with major stories breaking from Super League and the NRL.

Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

NRL round up

It’s been revealed that the Cowboys’ Scott Drinkwater rejected the Dolphins to sign a multi-year deal, according to Fox Sports.

That publication has also revealed that Cronulla Sharks star Ronaldo Mulitalo is set to sign a two-year contract.

Souths will sign up four players including Isaiah Tass and Izaac Thompson.

Canberra Raiders could be set for some major exits in the 2022 off-season with Josh Hodgson (Parramatta Eels), Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (New Zealand Warriors), Adam Elliot (Newcastle Knights), Ryan Sutton (Canterbury Bulldogs) and Harry Rushton (Huddersfield Giants) already having their new clubs locked in. Elijah Thompson and Adrian Trevilyan are still yet to sign.

Brisbane Broncos look destined to part ways with both Jake Turpin and Tyson Gamble.

The future of Canterbury Bulldogs’ interim boss Mick Potter has been revealed with the former Bradford and St Helens head coach set to stay at Belmore under Cameron Ciraldo.

Houles and Gigot future

Sylvain Houles will remain head coach of Toulouse Olympique, according to League Express.

Much has been made of Tony Gigot’s future too, but he may remain at the club.

Hardaker ‘frustrated’

Leeds Rhinos star Zak Hardaker has spoken out about a ‘frustrating’ aspect of the weekend.

Hull signing

Hull FC have identified a new signing for 2023, according to Hull Live.

He spoke to the Yorkshire Post about his aims for 2023 after such a poor year.

Watson wants this Grand Final

Huddersfield Giants boss Ian Watson has revealed the two sides he wants to see in the Super League Grand Final.
