
Former Wigan Warriors man and current England international Kai Pearce-Paul has made a decision on his NRL future and has secured a move to Wests Tigers from 2026.
The 24-year-old has put any rumours to rest about his future by signing a three-year deal with the Tigers.
Currently, he is at Newcastle Knights, where he moved at the start of the 2024 season, having previously played for Wigan Warriors in Super League.
Standing at 6″6 and weighing 108kg, the England international has impressed since his move to Australia, with both fans and pundits applauding his presence on the field and his offloading abilities.
Nearing 100 career appearances, the forward is set to be one of Shaun Wane’s call-ups come the winter Ashes series and this NRL move should only enhance his profile in the game too.
Speaking on the Tigers website, Pearce-Paul said: “I am excited to join the Wests Tigers in 2026. It is a fantastic opportunity, and I cannot wait.
“I grew up watching Benji (Marshall) and have always looked up to him, so being coached by him will be pretty special.”

These thoughts are echoed by his new head coach for 2025, Benji Marshall, who’s been watching his performances from afar since his move to the NRL two years ago.
Marshall said: “Kai is a powerful, mobile forward who really suits what we’re building here.
“He’s not only a great athlete but also a great person, and he’ll bring strong qualities to our team.
“I’m really looking forward to coaching him and seeing the impact he’ll have on our squad.”
