Former Leigh Leopards and Hull KR man headlines Championship squad as shirt numbers confirmed

Another Championship club have confirmed their shirt numbers with former Leigh Leopards, Hull FC and Hull KR man Ben Reynolds headlining the squad for Batley Bulldogs.

Reynolds will don the number six with the veteran half set to partner Josh Woods, handed number seven, for the upcoming 2026 season.

The 31-year-old Reynolds signed with Batley this off-season after spending 2025 with Featherstone Rovers, whom he had joined initially in early 2024 before linking up with Hull KR.

A loan move to Hull FC would come as well but of course, he’s best known for representing Leigh, as both Centurions and Leopards.

Reynolds isn’t the only former Super League man in the squad with ex-Wire outside back Wesley Bruines handed the number four shirt and former Wakefield Trinity full-back Robbie Butterworth taking the number one shirt.
