North Wales Crusaders have announced their two latest signings, and they come with experience at major Super League clubs, with former Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves men joining the ranks.
The Welsh outfit, who won the League One title in 2025, make the step up to the second tier as part of the reformed Championship structure, and will be looking to prove their worth against the already established second tier teams.
The club have already announced signings such as former Super League half-back Declan Patton and Salford Red Devils’ Charlie Glover, and they have now added further Super League experience to their side.
Ex-Warrington Wolves prop, Pat Moran, joins the club from Oldham. The 27-year-old has spent the last three seasons at the Roughyeds, whilst also appearing for Featherstone Rovers this campaign.
With 142 appearances to his name, three of which on the international stage for Ireland, Moran brings a wealth of experience from across the divisions and will bolster the Crusaders’ forward pack.
Joining him in making the move is former Leeds academy and reserves prop, Ashton Robinson.
Returning from a year in Australia, the five-time Welsh international will turn out for Dean Muir’s side in 2026.

Muir, who will lead the side next year following the departure of Carl Forster, had nothing but positives to say about his two new arrivals.
On Robinson, he said: “We are really happy to Add Ashton to our group. He’s a Welsh international and brings experience from that level and playing in Australia.
“He has a high work rate and his enthusiasm to learn and keep getting better adds another dimension to our middles. Ashton is someone I have kept an eye on for a long time, and I can’t wait to work with him in pre-season.”
On Moran, he added: “[I] am delighted to have signed Pat. He is an experienced middle with qualities we need for this group, with his international experience he adds leadership and will set standards.
“He adds punch in the middle group but also a slight of hand to be able to move the ball. He has been in really good systems and will help us develop our young group in the right way.”
