Former Hull KR and Super League winger, Kieran Dixon, has signed for Salford RLFC in the Championship, making a local switch.
Dixon was released by Oldham earlier this week, and his new club has now been confirmed, as he links up with Ryan Brierley’s side.
The 33-year-old becomes the latest permanent signing for the newly-formed phoenix club, who continue to strengthen their squad with more and more permanent deals as opposed to loan and trial contracts.
The speedster has made 104 appearances in Super League, with the last of those coming for London Broncos in 2019.
In total, he has played over 270 career games, and has scored just short of 1700 career points.
Dixon has already featured for Salford this year, joining for one game in their 29-28 win over Batley Bulldogs back in April.
Commenting on his move, the 2015 Challenge Cup Finalist said: “It feels good to sign for the club.
“I obviously got to play alongside Ryan when we were both at Oldham and got on well with him there.
“[I] also played with Mason back when we were both playing for London Broncos.
“[It] feels good to be able to link back up with them two, even though they’re in different positions now.”
