Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

Ex-St Helens star missing

An ex-St Helens, Bradford Bulls and Wigan Warriors star is still missing with police continuing their search amidst a lull in media attention.

He has been missing since January, but there has been no contact with friends or family in that time. Read more here.

Ex-Castleford man in police trouble

It was announced a few weeks ago that a former Castleford Tigers star was up in court on charges of alleged domestic abuse.

Burrow’s brilliant news

Leeds Rhinos legend Rob Burrow received some brilliant news this week as he released the paperback version of his book.

Channel 4 fixtures

More Channel 4 fixtures have been confirmed with Castleford Tigers and Wigan Warriors set to do battle on the broadcasting giant tomorrow.

Wane’s ‘best ever’

Wigan Warriors’ leadership coach Shaun Wane has revealed on his own social media who he feels is the ‘best ever’ Super League player.

Wane, of course, will lead England into this year’s World Cup at the end of the year. Read more here.

Tuimavave latest

Hull FC head coach Brett Hodgson has given a big update on star centre Carlos Tuimavave as he spoke to Hull Live. Hodgson also spoke about Ligi Sao. Read more here.

Hull Live has also revealed what Darnell McIntosh had to say on Jake Connor with the latter rumoured with a big move.

Hull FC and Wigan rejected

Hull FC were yesterday rejected by a Super League star who signed for their rivals instead, whilst Hull Live has reported that Manu Ma’u will leave at the end of the season. Read more here.

Austin’s club

Leeds Rhinos halfback Blake Austin now has a club for 2023 – and it might come as a surprise, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. Austin signed a one-year deal at Headingley after joining from Warrington Wolves. Read more here.

The Yorkshire Evening Post has also revealed that two youngsters – Mackenzie Turner and Joe Hird – are heading to Hunslet on short-term deals.

Thaler’s absence

Super League referee Ben Thaler has yet to referee in the top flight in 2022 with a curious absence from him.

Ex-Leeds and Bradford man now a cop

The Daily Mirror has revealed that former Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls prop Nick Scruton is now a police officer.

It’s a shock career move for the former enforcer who also had spells at Hull KR and Wakefield Trinity.

Star hospitalised

A Championship star has been taken to hospital following a bizarre accident in yesterday’s fixtures.

Simm to leave Saints

The Manchester Evening News has revealed that Josh Simm is set to leave St Helens at the end of his contract this year. Simm has been in and out of the side, but with the emergence of Jon Bennison and Ben Davies, he has found game time limited. Rugby League Live has also linked Junior Sa’u and Eddy Pettybourne with shock moves to Keighley Cougars.

Watson takes aim

Huddersfield Giants boss Ian Watson has taken aim at a number of decisions in the Challenge Cup Final loss to Wigan Warriors as well as Liam Farrell. Read more here.

Castleford Tigers head coach Lee Radford yesterday named his 21-man squad for the visit of Wigan Warriors on Sunday.

According to The Full Eighty Minutes podcast, some rugby league clubs could be cut adrift with the new proposals for the future structure of the sport.
