Super League Magic Weekend 2026 has already broken one record and yet more could fall, with the two-day event set to be the biggest in history.
Shifted to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium, ticket sales have taken off like never before with over 75,000 sold for the games in Liverpool whilst the seventh game in France is also set to ensure that the overall attendance eclipses 80,000.
To put into context just how incredible those figures are is the fact that the previous highest attendance at Super League Magic Weekend was just 68,276, so the record has been smashed before even taking into account the game in France.
Last year’s attendance marked the sixth-best in the event’s 18-year history with the record for a Sunday also being broken, however, that’s set to be smashed this year.
Sunday in 2025 at St James’ Park was attended by 32,862 fans but this Sunday at Everton could even surpass the single-day record of 40,871, set all the way back in 2015 at Newcastle.
Two West Yorkshire derbies, including Leeds versus Bradford, before Wigan Warriors and St Helens meet to round off the event on Sunday, and that juicy line-up has contributed to what could be the largest single-day crowd ever.
