Every Super League Grand Final player’s Rob Burrow Award chances with Wigan Warriors star on top

Saturday’s Super League Grand Final between Wigan Warriors and Hull KR will see one player crowned as just the second Rob Burrow Award winner.

The award, formerly known as the Harry Sunderland Trophy, was presented for the first time in 2024 with the Super League Grand Final Man of the Match gong renamed in honour of the Leeds Rhinos legend.

Bevan French became the first man to win it as the renamed Rob Burrow Award following his incredible try in last year’s Grand Final and the Wigan Warriors man has a strong chance of retaining that crown, topping the market of Super League sponsors Betfred.

Since the award’s inception, just four players have won it twice and none have won it in consecutive years so the Wigan man could make some individual history, as Wigan seek club history of winning a third straight Grand Final.

Liam Farrell (2016), Luke Thompson (2019) and Jake Wardle (2023) are also seeking a second win.

As for Hull KR, they’re after some history themselves with the treble on the line and understandably the man favoured to take home the award for them is 2024 Man of Steel and 2025 nominee Mikey Lewis.

Below is a list of all the players in with a shot, ranked by title sponsors Betfred’s odds.
