Warrington Wolves and Leigh Leopards will both welcome back injured players as the line-ups are confirmed for this evening’s Challenge Cup tie.
With the 21-man squads proving promising for Leigh especially, a number of players who have been out on the sidelines have passed late fitness tests to be deemed ready to return to the field.
Warrington will welcome back Cai Taylor-Wray at full-back after he has missed the past month with an injury sustained in training.
He slots straight back in, pushing Josh Thewlis to the wing which means Josh Smith drops out.
Luke Yates returns in the pack, meaning Luke Thomas is the unfortunate one to miss out. Kelepi Tanginoa is another who re-joins the 17 after missing last week.
The Leopards have been handed a huge boost with Edwin Ipape, Umyla Hanley, Tesi Niu and Jack Hughes all being deemed fit enough to feature.
Ipape has missed the last six weeks whilst Hanley has yet to play in Super League 2026. Niu and Hughes both missed last week’s defeat to Wire after picking up knocks the week prior against Toulouse.
