Castleford Tigers’ new signing is set for a huge ban following the Disciplinary Match Review Panel’s decisions yesterday.

He has been ‘referred for further investigation’ to an Operational Rules Tribunal. Read more here.

The Disciplinary Match Review Panel met yesterday with two Castleford Tigers men, a Hull FC star and a Leeds Rhinos forward banned. Read more here.

Myler slams Phil Clarke

Leeds Rhinos star Richie Myler has slammed Phil Clarke for his comments on Sky Sports last week following Leeds’ win over the Huddersfield Giants, the Daily Mirror has revealed.

Clarke said Myler had been ‘cheating’ to win a penalty against Chris Hill, but Myler responded: “I thought using that word live on telly was out of order and I’ve said it to Phil Clarke. He stood by what he said. But I was fighting to get up to play the ball and Hilly was fighting to slow me down.”
