Thaler shock
Ben Thaler has been given a shock appointment for this weekend’s round of games after not taking to the field for any Super League this season.

Charnley speaks on ban and return
Warrington Wolves winger Josh Charnley is ‘ready to cause chaos’ according to the man himself after he did an interview with the Warrington Guardian.
The winger also spoke about his ban for striking, saying: “Powelly told me I’d got two matches and I was just really confused. I was confused for days about it, to be honest, but I’ve done my time now.”
Bans galore
Huddersfield Giants star Will Pryce has been hit with a mammoth ban following last night’s tribunal hearing. Wigan Warriors also learned the fate of their appeal on forward Kaide Ellis who was handed a huge suspension last week. Read more on Pryce here and you can read Ellis’ fate here.

SL clubs swarm Kheirallah
Super League clubs have been offered the services of former Toulouse Olympique star Mark Kheirallah, according to Yorkshire Live.
Championship clubs have also been alerted after the Australian was sacked by the French side for ‘serious misconduct’.
Thompson future
Leeds Rhinos forward Bodene Thompson has spoken openly about his future to Leeds Live with the star coming off contract at the end of 2022.
Thompson said: “I’ll see what my family situation is because we had twins last year. If my wife says she wants to go home with our young family, then I’m very much happy with whatever she wants to do.”
French latest
Wigan Warriors head coach Matty Peet has given an update on Bevan French after the livewire fullback returned to full training a fortnight ago.
French will have to contend with the in-form Jai Field at the back, but will French play this weekend? Read more here.

Sonny Bill Williams is set to make sporting history, according to his current boxing trainer, the World Wide of Sports has revealed.

Hull KR halfback Jordan Abdull was a guest on this week’s Super League Show and he spoke honestly about Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer.

The RFL and Super League have made a major step towards the future of rugby league in this country.

Ex-Leeds Rhinos head coach Richard Agar has given an update on where his future might lie in rugby league. The former Wakefield Trinity and Hull FC boss stepped down as Leeds head coach on Monday morning. Read more on his future here.

Farnworth bidding war
England international and Brisbane Broncos centre Herbie Farnworth is in the middle of a bidding war between FIVE clubs for his signature, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Beaumont rages
Leigh Centurions owner Derek Beaumont has ruffled a few feathers on Twitter after hitting out at Premier Sports pundits Leon Pryce and Kevin Brown.

Hull FC’s Jake Connor has spoken about who he feels is one of the best players in Super League to the Hull website.

Hastings ban
Former Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils star Jackson Hastings has been given a lengthy ban following a dangerous tackle whilst playing for Wests Tigers against Newcastle Knights.

Lui’s new club
Former Leeds Rhinos halfback Rob Lui has found a new club and was pictured at the club’s game at the weekend.
Lui helped Leeds to Challenge Cup success in 2020 after being a mainstay with the Salford Red Devils for a number of years. Read more about his new club here.

St Helens head coach Kristian Woolf is apparently being chased hard for a major coaching role, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Woolf has led Saints to unprecedented success so far in his three years and has piqued the interest of big clubs. Read more here.
Burgess’ bizarre move
George Burgess has been bizarrely named in St George Illawarra Dragons’ 24-man squad for this weekend’s fixture against Cronulla Sharks.

Former St Helens star Leon Pryce named who he feels is the best halfback in Super League live on Premier Sports on Monday night.
