The draw for the Challenge Cup quarter-finals has now been made with a bumper match-up drawn out of the hat.
This past weekend saw eight teams progress to the quarter-finals with those set to be played on the weekend of April 11th and 12th.
The draw was made live on BBC One programme Morning Live, a show hosted by former Channel 4 Super League presenter Helen Skelton as well as co-host Gethin Jones. St Helens’ Alex Walmsley and York Knights’ Josh Griffin were also on hand to help promote the competition.
Perhaps the most interesting of those fixtures is the game between Warrington Wolves and Leigh Leopards, a repeat of last year’s semi-final, which Wire came through.
Holders Hull KR have been drawn against York Knights, who beat them in round one of Super League, whilst St Helens will host Catalans Dragons and Wakefield Trinity will take on Wigan Warriors.
Two of the four games will be aired live on the BBC but details of which games, as well as when all four games will be played, is yet to be confirmed.
