Catalans Dragons round out Super League roster reveals as 2026 shirt numbers confirmed

Catalans Dragons are the final Super League side to release their 2026 shirt numbers.

Now under Joel Tomkins, the roster for the new campaign looks completely different to the one they revealed 12 months ago, with 13 new signings and 14 departures in the off-season.

After failing to reach the play-offs, you’d expect the top six to be a priority of Tomkins, though with how competitive the competition looks to be this year, it will certainly be a challenge.

In the first 13, six players are new signings, including full-back Charlie Staines who joins from Wests Tigers.

Joining from the same club, Solomona Faataape will wear the number four, whilst Queensland Cup import Manase Kaho takes five.

Toby Sexton, who is at Catalans for a year before switching to Perth Bears, will don six, whilst ex-St Helens man Lewis Dodd will wear 7.

Rounding out the new recruits, Ben Condon will wear 12, whilst Phoenix Laulu-Togaga’e, Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui and Josh Allen all have numbers in the 17.

Tomkins has named a 29-man squad, with the 23 jersey being left vacant. We have seen clubs do this across the division, and it could suggest the Dragons are willing to make a late signing could the right man become available.

St Helens opted to choose this route, leaving the 25 jersey open that has since been taken by Nene MacDonald after his late arrival.

Almost half of the squad is made up of homegrown products, with 13 of the 29 hailing from France. Ben Garcia will head into his 14th season at the club, whilst prop Julian Bousquet will go into his 15th.

The Dragons will begin their season with a Challenge Cup tie at Batley Bulldogs, before their first Super League game sees them host Huddersfield Giants.

They then travel to Bradford, before a tough run of fixtures sees them face St Helens, Leigh Leopards, Hull KR and Hull FC in consecutive weeks.
