IMG secure Super League an extra TV deal as all Catalans Dragons and Toulouse Olympique games to be broadcast in France

Catalans Dragons have confirmed that both their and Toulouse Olympique’s matches will be shown live in France throughout the 2026 season.

The agreement sees ‘Le Group Depeche’ broadcast both clubs’ fixtures through the year, starting with Les Dracs’ home tie against Huddersfield Giants on Friday 13 February.

The coverage will have French commentary, and a weekly round-up show will also be produced across the production company’s other outlets, including Midi Olympique, L’Indépendant, and the Rugbyrama Twitch channel.

In total, Le Group Depeche’s digital audiences total over 200 million views per month, and the news comes at a time where rugby league in France continues to grow.

For the first time since 2022, both Catalans and Toulouse will be in the top flight, and that means that both clubs have a French derby to look forward to.

The venue for the pair’s fixture on the weekend that UK Super League teams will be at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for Magic Weekend is still to be announced, but that game will also be broadcast by the French broadcaster.

Commenting on the deal, which was negotiated by RL Commercial’s strategic partner, IMG, Adam Treeby, the head of broadcast at RL Commercial said:

“Welcoming La Depeche to our overseas broadcast partners is positive news ahead of the start of what promises to be a bumper season of action in the Betfred Super League.

“Both Super League and the Dragons will celebrate significant milestones in 2026, with the competition turning 30 and the Dragons marking 20 years in Super League, while Toulouse is celebrating a first return to the top flight since 2022.

“We’ve experienced first-hand the passion of French rugby league supporters over the years, so we hope this renewed coverage of the sport in France helps the teams to continue to grow their support base and brand both locally and internationally.”

Catalans Dragons CEO, Sebastien Munoz, added: “This is excellent news for our supporters and partners.

“We are delighted to strengthen our ties with this media group, which is the benchmark in the world of rugby, on the occasion of this anniversary season for the club.

“We are also very pleased to be able to maintain free access for our supporters. This new broadcast partnership guarantees essential visibility in France, in addition to our international exposure.”
