Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos are set to face off once again as a historic rivalry continues at the OneBore Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Fresh off the news that head coach Brad Arthur has committed to the club for at least another year, Leeds will be hoping to ride their positive wave and claim another win over their West Yorkshire rivals.
The Rhinos have beaten Castleford on the last five occasions, with the Tigers’ last win coming at Magic Weekend 2023. A Leeds win would make it their longest winning run over the Tigers in Super League history.
For Castleford, a win would put them up to ninth in the league, surpassing Catalans Dragons after their defeat to Warrington Wolves last night.
Here is how both sides are expected to line up, as injuries mount up for both sides:
Leeds Rhinos Squad News:
Cooper Jenkins and Cameron Smith join Mikolaj Oledzki and Tom Holyroyd as injured forwards. Arthur has just Keenan Palasia and Sam Lisone as his only senior props available, meaning a reshuffle will be needed.
Arthur confirmed this week that 18-year-old Presley Cassell will start in the front row, in what is just his fourth Super League appearance.
The former Parramatta boss also confirmed that Ben Littlewood, who was named on the bench against Wakefield three weeks ago but was unused, will get minutes this weekend.
Leeds Rhinos Predicted Team:Â 1. Lachie Miller; 31. Chris Hankinson, 3. Harry Newman, 4. Ash Handley, 5. Ryan Hall; 6. Brodie Croft, 18. Jake Connor; 29. Presley Cassell, 14. Jarrod O’Connor, 10. Keenan Palasia; 16. Morgan Gannon, 12. James McDonnell; 28. Kallum Watkins.

Castleford Tigers Squad News:
The Tigers have only been able to name a 20-man squad, as winger Elliot Wallis returns to the club for a second time, joining on loan from Huddersfield Giants.
Tex Hoy is again named in the squad, and should be fit to make his return. Last week’s game against Hull KR came too quickly for him to be ready for action.
Former Rhinos players Alex Mellor, Brad Singleton and Muizz Mustapha will all be out to impress their former employers.
