Castleford Tigers welcome Leeds Rhinos to the Jungle on Saturday afternoon with Danny McGuire to face his former club for the first time as a head coach, and he’s now named his 21-man squad for the occasion.
McGuire wrote his name into Leeds Rhinos’ history during his time with the club but he’s currently writing new history with Castleford Tigers in his first role as a head coach.
So far, McGuire’s side have three wins to their name this season with the most recent coming last weekend against Salford Red Devils. That leaves them 10th in Super League and they’ll be bid underdogs against Leeds Rhinos who moved into the top four with their dramatic win over Hull FC last week.
Whilst both sides are on different trajectories in 2025, derby games can often act as a leveler and Cas will certainly be wanting to do the business for their head coach.
Both McGuire and Arthur have now named their 21-man squads for Saturday’s game, which can be watched via the BBC.

Judah Rimbu didn’t play last week despite being named to the 21-man squad, however, the Papua New Guinean international has not even been named to the squad this week. That comes amid talks that he could be set to leave the club.
Rimbu dropping out is the only change made to the squad with reserve team player Andy Djeukessi named to the 21-man squad for the first time.
The Tigers recalled George Hill from his loan spell with Salford Red Devils but the hooker/loose forward is not named to the squad.
