Castleford statement
Castleford Tigers have released a major statement in the wake of their away fixture at Leeds Rhinos on Saturday.
The Tigers ran out 40-16 winners in the Challenge Cup Sixth Round and will now face Hull KR in the Quarter-Finals. Read more on their statement here.

Staying on the Challenge Cup theme, the details of the Quarter-Finals have been released.
The TV channels, kick-off times and dates have all been revealed with the BBC hosting two games and Premier Sports the other two. Read more here.
Best winger named
Premier Sports pundit Leon Pryce has named the ‘most outstanding winger’ in Super League at present.
It might come as a shock to many, but the former St Helens halfback called for his inclusion in the England set-up. Read more here.
Powell ‘butting heads’
Warrington Wolves head coach Daryl Powell has told the Wakefield Express that he feels he is ‘butting heads’ with some of his players at times.
It comes in the wake of Warrington’s miserly exit from the Challenge Cup at the hands of Wakefield Trinity yesterday.
Hetherington jets off
Leeds Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington has jetted off to Australia in his bid to find a new head coach.

Hodgson on trio
Hull FC boss Brett Hodgson has given an important update on Carlos Tuimavave, Josh Reynolds and Jamie Shaul to Hull Live.
Whilst Tuimavave played against Sheffield Eagles on Saturday, the latter two didn’t. Read more here.
Murdoch-Masila’s curious move
Former Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils star Ben Murdoch-Masila has been involved in a curious move.
The rampaging forward has been a key player for the New Zealand Warriors in recent years but has failed to make an appearance in 2022. Read more on the move here.

Huddersfield Giants starlet George Roby has signed a new deal at the club, the club website revealed.

Griffin on Gale and captaincy
Hull FC centre Josh Griffin has posted on Instagram about his time as captain of the club in the absence of Luke Gale.

Hull KR hooker Matt Parcell has reportedly been linked with a move, according to the Courier Mail.
