It has been a busy 24 hours with major stories breaking from Super League and the NRL.

Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

Poching slams players

Wakefield Trinity went down 20-16 to Catalans Dragons yesterday in a hard-fought battle that had repercussions at both ends of the table.

The Yorkshire Post has revealed that Leeds Rhinos’ Richie Myler is set to play for Ireland in this year’s World Cup.

Myler is set to partner Sydney Roosters halfback Luke Keary for the Wolfhounds.

Leeds in for two

Rugby League Live has revealed that Leeds Rhinos are set to swoop for Castleford Tigers winger Derrell Olpherts. Leeds are also keeping tabs on League 1 sensation Leon Ruan who is currently playing for Doncaster.

Meanwhile, the Hull Daily Mail has revealed that Brett Hodgson wants more signings for Hull FC.

Blair’s next destination

Castleford Tigers’ Cheyse Blair will be leaving the Jungle at the end of the 2022 season.

Former Wigan, Wakefield and St Helens prop Ricky Bibey sadly passed away in July but now the Daily Mirror has revealed shocking claims about the circumstances.
