Here is a round-up of everything that has happened…

Hardaker latest

The Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that Leeds Rhinos CEO Gary Hetherington has given an update on his club’s loan situation.

It comes in the wake of Hetherington discussing a potential move for Wigan Warriors’ Zak Hardaker. Read more here.

Poching’s son

Wakefield Trinity boss Willie Poching isn’t the only Poching in the game – his son Kobe is also present in rugby league.

And, he will be making his professional debut this weekend – but not for Wakefield. Read more here.

Hodgson on Gale and Fash charged

Hull FC boss Brett Hodgson has spoken out against the charge handed to Brad Fash and the ban given to Luke Gale.

Hodgson told the Yorkshire Post: “I don’t think there was any intent at all but it was very difficult to challenge,” said Hodgson on Gale.” He also said this on Fash: “We looked at the footage and it didn’t look like he clamped down with his jaw on Minchella’s hand in any way.”

Hastings backed for major move

Wests Tigers star Jackson Hastings has been backed for a major move following his exploits at the weekend against Parramatta Eels, according to Fox Sports.

Hastings kicked the winning drop-goal to hand Wests their first win of the 2022 NRL campaign. Read more here.

Minchella on Smith

Hull KR star Elliot Minchella signed a huge new long-term deal at Hull KR yesterday in a brilliant move for the club.

In his first interview since signing, Minchella also referenced the departure of Tony Smith and the effect. Read more here.

Williams and Fages latest

There has been an update on both Warrington Wolves’ George Williams and Huddersfield Giants’ Theo Fages.

Evalds’ replacement

Castleford Tigers boss Lee Radford has spoken to BBC Radio Leeds about who will replace fullback Niall Evalds.

Castleford Tigers have made a shock request to the RFL to drop their women’s side down a league. It follows in the wake of a loss of all of their stars who were present when the Tigers made down the Challenge Cup and Grand Final. Read more here.

There could well be another eight-match ban on the horizon in rugby league if a tribunal finds a Grade E charge punching guilty.

New Leeds Rhinos head coach Rohan Smith has revealed when he will arrive in Leeds to take over the reins.
