Burrow’s father shocked
Rob Burrow’s father, Geoff, has spoken of his shock and horror at the government’s refusal to hand over any of the £50 million promised to MND.

Ex-Wigan Warriors star George Burgess has taken up a surprising career move, according to Fox Sports.
It follows a long period on the sidelines and his attempt to get back into the rugby life with St George Illawarra Dragons. Read more here.
Murdoch-Masila’s horror news
Ex-Warrington Wolves and Salford Red Devils star Ben Murdoch-Masila has received some horror news.
The former Super League man made the move back to the NRL with the New Zealand Warriors in 2021. Read more here.
Powell’s huge admission
Warrington Wolves head coach Daryl Powell has made a huge admission following a dismal run of form.
Warrington went down 30-24 against Wakefield Trinity at the weekend and Powell spoke to the media after the game. Read more here.
Robert Hicks made a curious TV appearance on Monday night.
After going part-time with the RFL referees at the start of the year, Hicks has been a bit of an enigma ever since. Read more here.
Hull spine alternatives
Hull FC’s spine has come in for criticism in 2022 with its lack of creativity. Well, Hull Live has published an article which reveals how the Black and Whites could line up in the future with Jacob Hookem and Denive Balmforth there, though Carlos Tuimavave is out for the season according to the publication.
Meanwhile, Hull KR could well make a statement with the signing of Parramatta Eels centre Tom Opacic, according to Hull Live.
Garbutt’s new club
Former Leeds Rhinos forward Mitch Garbutt has found a surprise new club.
Garbutt has been with Toulouse Olympique for two seasons but will leave the French side. Read more here.
What England and All Stars will be paid
Rugby League Live has revealed that those called up to the England and Combined Nations All Stars fixture this weekend will receive £500 for their troubles.
A winning bonus of £1,500 will also be paid out, making a possible £2,000 take home.
Austin takes big swipe
Leeds Rhinos star Blake Austin has taken a big swipe at Super League following the scheduling system.
Austin is part of a Leeds side that has had just one game in three weeks. Read more here.
Michael McIlorum has gone under the radar for the Catalans Dragons since joining the club.
However, he has told Yorkshire Live that he will be staying with the French club beyond 2022 and go into coaching.
Foster slams O’Neill
Former St Helens man Jamie Foster has gone in on Castleford Tigers star Jacques O’Neill.
O’Neill, of course, has recently joined the Love Island villa, moving away from rugby league in the process. Read more here.
Warrington Wolves have released one of their big earners from his contract immediately.

But, also amongst those called up was Englishman Daryl Clark, who was omitted from Shaun Wane’s England squad.
Huddersfield Giants star Ricky Leutele has been in scintillating form in 2022 so far with the West Yorkshire club.

Why Welsby escaped
The Disciplinary Match Review Panel gave its verdicts yesterday but there was no ban for St Helens’ Jack Welsby.

Leeds Rhinos star Jack Walker has revealed why he didn’t suit Richard Agar at Headingley.

Catalans Dragons star Tyrone May has confirmed his club for the 2023 Super League season.
