Bradford Bulls have confirmed yet another signing after their promotion to Super League with the West Yorkshire outfit re-signing fan favourite Eribe Doro to a two-year deal.
Hull KR signed Doro from Odsal ahead of the 2025 season, contracting him to a two-year deal, however, they announced his release at midday.
In a statement, the Super League winners confirmed that the 24-year-old had been released from his contract to take up an opportunity with another Super League club.
It’s now been confirmed that Bradford are that Super League side with Kurt Haggerty’s bringing back another former Bulls player.
Following the signings or Rowan Milnes and Ethan Ryan, Doro becomes the third former Bradford man to return to the Bulls following their return to Super League.
Eribe Doro returns to Bradford Bulls after KR release
Doro made just nine appearances for Hull KR during his season-long stint at Craven Park, however, he quickly became a fan favourite, just as he was at Odsal.
The 24-year-old will now return to Odsal as Bradford’s strong recruitment continues. They’ve alsready signed former players Ethan Ryan and Rowan Milnes, as well as Salford Red Devils’ Jayden Nikorima and Leeds Rhinos’ Andy Ackers.
A club statement confirmed Doro’s return, reading: “Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce we have seen off interest to secure the signature of fans’ favourite and treble winner Eribe Doro – who has penned a two-year deal with the club!”
Speaking on his return, Doro said: “I’m buzzing to be back, everyone knows how much I love the club, the boys and the fans and to be a part of the journey with the club back in Super League is massive.
“I created some really special bonds with some great people both on and off the pitch and I cannot wait to pull that shirt on again.
“This is a really exciting time and I can’t wait to hear the Bulls fans get even louder, in even greater in numbers next year.”
Head coach Kurt Haggerty added: “I’m really excited to work with Eribe, I’ve had nothing but good feedback from people at the Bulls and from Jason Hirst and Brian Noble in particular.
“He’s someone that I have tracked for a little bit as I really like his style of play, he’s aggressive, he’s physical, he’s highly committed to everything that he does. He really suits the narrative of how I want to play and I think there’s still a little bit more to Eribe, which I think I can help him unlock.
“I’m really excited to see how he goes with us – he’s been in a winning environment now so I hope he brings a bit of that winning culture with him over to the Bulls.”
