Big Hull FC signing

Hull FC are set to make a huge signing, according to the Newcastle Herald.

Ben Thaler returned to Super League action at the Magic Weekend after six months out and impressed.

It will be interesting to see whether Thaler will be given another officiating gig in the top flight this weekend. Read more here.

King future

Huddersfield Giants loanee Toby King has spoken to Examiner Live about his future following short-term move from Warrington Wolves.

King said: “To be honest, I 100% don’t know because I’ve not even spoken about it with the people at Warrington.”

Magic Weekend alternative venue

The PA Agency has revealed that Magic Weekend could be heading for a new alternative venue. Read more here.

Castleford’s Widdop worry

Castleford Tigers are set for a major worry over Warrington Wolves man Gareth Widdop.

Rugby league clubs are set to be cut adrift with the IMG takeover, according to The Full Eighty Minutes podcast.

Bans, bans, bans

As many as eight bans were handed out in yesterday’s Disciplinary Match Review Panel meeting. Read more here.

Leeds hearing

Leeds Rhinos went to a hearing last night to appeal Harry Newman’s extended ban, the Yorkshire Evening Post has revealed. Read more here.

The England international had a two-match ban upgraded to three for a ‘frivolous challenge’ last week.

Wire signing in roadside incident

New Warrington Wolves signing Paul Vaughan has been involved in a brilliant roadside incident, the Daily Telegraph has revealed.

Vaughan is part of a revolution at the Cheshire club under new head coach Daryl Powell. Read more here.

Hardaker drops hint

Leeds Rhinos star Zak Hardaker has dropped the biggest hint on his future yet in an interview with the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The fullback/centre has also given an update on the injury he sustained in the win over Castleford Tigers at the weekend.

Leeds safety concern

Leeds Rhinos have been hit with big news ahead of their fixture at Toulouse Olympique this weekend.
