The age-old debate about which competition is better between Super League and the NRL continues to rage on in this present day.
With the inequalities of the £5 million plus salary cap in Australia compared to the £2.1 million in Super League and you could be forgive in thinking that the disparity between both the NRL and Super League is growing at a rate of knots.
However, for leading rugby league agent, Craig Harrison of Show Me The Money UK, believes that a number of playmakers in the UK would do remarkably well Down Under considering the players they would have around them.
“People say to us about the standard of our players and could they play in the NRLand it’s the most ridiculous debate you will ever have,” Harrison told the Show Me The Money Rugby League TV podcast.
“Jackson Hastings has been playing out of his skin and he was a good player here – he won the Man of Steel here and was probably one of the best halves in the competition over here but there are certainly players as good as Jackson here without a doubt.
“If you look at the players we have in our game I would say most of our halves would have a chance of playing in the NRL with the players they have around them.”
