Rovers recall two loanees

Hull KR have recalled Rowan Milnes and Jimmy Keinhorst from their loan deals at Bradford Bulls and York City Knights respectively.

Milnes will provide cover at halfback for the Robins, after gaining more experience at his hometown club. He played in all their matches before the season was voided.

Keinhorst is also needed after injuries to Ben Crooks and Adam Quinlan in the back line.

Rovers CEO, Mike Smith said: “I would like to thank Mark Sawyer and John Kear from Bradford Bulls and Jon Flatman and James Ford from York City Knights for their co-operation in making this happen.

“We have a great relationship with both these clubs and therefore the process was easy and seamless.

“Tony (Smith) asked to strengthen the current squad and it made total sense to bring our own players back home first.”
