Rovers and Knights announce friendly squads

Featherstone Rovers and York City Knights have named their squads for Sunday’s Friendly at the LD Nutrition Stadium.

Rovers have named five squad players from Leeds Rhinos in their squad. Daniel Waite-Pullan, Tyler Dupree, Jarrod O’Connor, Loui McConnell, Lim Whitton and Harvey Spence could all play a part on Sunday.

There are also places for new recruits Brett Ferres, Craig Hall, Alec Susino, Dale Ferguson, Ben Blackmore, Louis Jouffret, Greg Worthington, Wellington Albert and Jake Sweeting.

This is the first match for the Rovers, as they look to go one better than 2019. They lost against Toronto Wolfpack in the Championship Grand Final.

As for York, they boast a few new signings of their own with Danny Washbrook, Ben Johnston, Chris Clarkson, James Green and Will Sharp all expected to play a part for the Knights.

The Knights are hoping to continue their form from last season into the new decade. They finished third in their first season back in the Championship.

The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday.
