Rohan Smith addresses lingering issue

Leeds Rhinos aren’t where they want to be yet in 2023.

There have been some glimpses of what they can do but we have yet to see them at their very best in 2023.

One key aspect has often been errors. In defeats to Hull KR, Castleford Tigers and of course their latest defeat to Salford Red Devils.

On this lingering issue for the Rhinos, Rohan Smith said:

“It hasn’t been the most significant part of all of our defeats, it has been a part of several defeats and I think if you look at every team if they perform poorly they will put it down largely to errors made so we do need to clean it up.

“There is some personal responsibility there to reduce the errors and just a little bit will make a big difference.

“Two or three less errors on that game at the weekend and the scoreline may well have been different.”

The Rhinos are set to take on one of the top teams this week in the shape of Wigan Warriors and you would think Matt Peet’s side would punish an error strewn display from the Rhinos at the DW Stadium.

The Rhinos could have winger Derrell Olpherts back but will be without halfback Aidan Sezer.
