Rochdale add third Thatto Heath player

Rochdale Hornets have completed the signing of forward Adam Hesketh from NCL side Thatto Heath Crusaders for the 2020 season.

Hesketh completed a fine personal year, after guiding Thatto to the NCL Premier Division Grand Final. He also represented Lancashire and England Community Lions.

He joins Thatto teammates Andy Lea and Adam Carr at Rochdale this season.

The forward told the club website: “I’m excited to test myself down at Rochdale this year.

“It’s a good opportunity for me to take a step up. I’m very familiar with the coaching staff and the players have all been great really welcoming.

“I can’t wait to get on the pitch in League One this season.”

Head Coach Matt Calland added:  “Another one from Thatto Heath who is a very tough, uncompromising player.

“He has played internationally as a amateur and is looking to test himself at a higher level.”
