Wigan appoint a legend as CEO

Wigan Warriors have appointed former player, Kris Radlinski, as their new Chief Executive in a move that promotes him from Executive Director. The former full-back played over 300 times for the Cherry and Whites. Read more here.

Dom Young is reportedly subject to plenty of interest among the clubs down under with the NRL winger and breakout World Cup star set to run off contract at the end of the season. A new team has now broken into the lead in the race to sign him. Read more here.

England Women name first squad since World Cup

The international scene is back for the first time since the World Cup with England Women to face France in April. A 25-woman squad has been named with the three powerhouses of the women’s game; St Helens, Leeds Rhinos and York Valkyrie having nine, seven and seven players a piece in the squad. Daryl Powell explains why 2022 was such a struggle

Warrington Wolves’ head coach Daryl Powell has spoken about the number of players who had uncertainty surrounding them during 2022 being a contributing factor their poor performances. As many as 14 players had contract decisions looming claimed Stefan Ratchford. Read more here.

Huge event to raise MND awareness held as union and league unite

Twickenham played host to a meeting of minds with plenty of former players attending the English home of rugby union to discuss further plans to raiser awareness and campaign for research into Motor Neurone Disease. The likes of Barrie McDermott, Jodie Cunningham and many more attending the event named in honour of the late great Doddie Weir and the man who he inspired, Rob Burrow, with Burrow’s father also in attendance.

Hull KR offer fans to step into the shoes of a head coach

The Robins are auctioning off the experience for two people to sit in Willie Peters’ coaching box in his first game at Craven Park.
