Richard Agar down two players as he has his say on “eventful” game

Leeds may well have posted a 38-12 victory over Salford, but the major talking came early in the second-half when Lee Mossop floored Konrad Hurrell.

Rhinos boss Richard Agar, however, admits he didn’t see the incident – though he had heard plenty about it.

“I missed the whole thing,” Agar said.

“I was following the play and then I saw Konrad on the floor and they said Lee Mossop had decked him.

“By the time Bodene had been sent off we’d had a look at our camera and our cameraman had followed the play as well.

“Unfortunately, I’ve not had a look at it so it would be wrong of me to comment on it, whether it was a correct send off or not.”

Agar was happy to get the two points, but he was also left ruing two injuries.

“It was quite eventful, but I’m pleased to get the win and I thought we shared the workload around really well.

“Because he (Hurrell) got knocked out, he’ll obviously miss the game on Thursday.

“Ash Handley because he got knocked out, he has a seven day turnaround so he’ll miss Thursday.

“Richie Myler has come off with a dislocated finger so it’s fingers crossed for him that it’s just a dislocation and it’s nothing too much more serious than that.”
