Leeds Rhinos have lost one of their most promising young players after England academy hooker Corey Johnson today left the club.
The 19-year-old has decided to pursue a career outside of the game despite the Rhinos hierarchy doing everything to persuade him to stay.

Johnson made his Super League debut in the final game of last season against Warrington and also featured in the Boxing Day victory over Wakefield.
He was tipped for a big future in the game and director of rugby Kevin Sinfield has revealed that they will keep close tabs on the former Featherstone loanee.
“We have been speaking with Corey for a number of weeks about what he would like to do in the future,” said Sinfield.
“Our first concern is always the welfare of our players, especially the younger members of the squad.
“We will remain in contact with Corey and provide him with any support he needs.”
