Leeds Rhinos have confirmed forward Liam Sutcliffe has handed in a transfer request at the club.
Sutcliffe has spent the whole of his professional career with the Rhinos, and said he wants to move to a new adventure.
Explaining the decision on the club’s YouTube channel, he said: “I think I got to a stage in my career where I thought I need something new and a different challenge.
“I’ve probably been at a crossroads for the last couple of years. I’ve not known what to do. I feel now is the right time to move on and try something new.”
However, he did say he would remain committed to the Rhinos until something comes up.
He added: “I’m not sure what will happen. But until something comes up, then I am fully committed to the Rhinos.”
