Jon Wilkin believes those in the game need to be more open-minded about the idea of expansion.

In a busy week for the RFL Match Review Panel, 10 Super League players have been charged following the latest round of action.

Leigh’s Jamie Acton is potentially facing a long suspension after been charged with a Grade F offence for other contrary behaviour.

The Centurions prop has been cited for an incident that involved Catalans’ Greg Bird who was lying on the ground at the time.

Acton’s teammate Ben Crooks has also been cited for Grade B punching during the match in Perpignan.

Four Catalans players are facing charges from the same game with prop forward Benjamin Garcia cited with Grade C running in and punching.

Fouad Yaha is charged with the same offence as Garcia, but classed as Grade B with the winger having his Early Guilty Plea (EGP) available to use.

The other two Dragons players charged are Greg Bird for punching (Grade B) and Richie Myler for tripping (Grade A).

Elsewhere, two Wakefield players have been charged following their match against Warrington Wolves on Saturday.

Reece Lyne (Grade C) and Keegan Hirst (Grade A) have been cited for dangerous contact but both have their EGP available to use.

St Helens’ Jon Wilkin also faces a dangerous contact charge, the Saints skipper has his EGP still available to use for the Grade B offence.

Finally, Castleford centre Jake Webster has been cited for a Grade A high tackle during the game against Hull FC on Friday and has his EGP available.
