The Rugby Football League has reported a profit for the second year running in 2020.
That profit is despite the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the governing body £25,000 in the black after a profit of £75,000 for 2019.
And, that is in stark contrast to other sports. The Rugby Football Union lost almost £11m in the same period, but the RFL reduced costs and used the government support to get through the uncertain period.
