Revealed: When the 2024 Super League fixtures will be released

A wide shot, as Hull KR and Wigan come out to the field of play with pyrotechnics at Craven Park

This week the 2024 Betfred Super League fixtures will be revealed and more details have now been unveiled by Super League clubs.

Over the weekend, Leeds Rhinos revealed that the opening fixture of the Super League season was 90 days away taking place on February 16th which is a Friday night meaning an end to the recent Thursday night opening games as we saw in 2023 between Leeds Rhinos and Warrington Wolves as well as in 2022 in a Grand Final rematch between St Helens and Catalans Dragons.

This is around the same time as last year’s Super League season began but is a long way off the earlier start dates from seasons gone by such as in 2019 when the season actually started in late January.

Further details have now been revealed with Hull KR revealing that the fixtures will be released on Thursday 23rd November as they revealed to fans their ability to sync the fixtures with their calendars with the following statement:

“Hull KR’s 2024 Betfred Super League fixtures will be released on Thursday 23rd November. Never miss a game by syncing our fixtures to your digital calendar!

“You can choose to add fixtures and events from all teams in the club or select your preferred schedules. Once you have subscribed, fixtures will automatically update in your calendar when they are released. You don’t need to worry about fixtures moving dates or times as your calendar will update accordingly!”

Serious About Rugby League understands that this announcement will be made in the morning and will also see confirmation around the Magic Weekend.

This is set to take place in August and be headlined by games between Wigan Warriors and St Helens as well as Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves.

It is possible that we also receive understanding of how Sky Sports will show every game with talk of a streaming service.
