We have seen Wigan Warriors confirm a number of major signings ahead of the 2024 Super League season.
The Warriors stunned the rugby league world when they beat Catalans Dragons to the signing of former Leeds Rhinos and Huddersfield Giants hooker Kruise Leeming.
The hooker left Leeds after just five games in the 2023 Super League season prior to a move to Gold Coast Titans.
He was expected to sign for Catalans Dragons until he signed for Wigan Warriors instead at the 11th hour.
He will be joined by former Leeds teammate Sam Walters as well as another former Leeds forward in the shape of Tyler Dupree who completed a mid-season switch from Salford Red Devils.
The Warriors have also drafted in two signings from the Catalans Dragons in a year the French club won’t want to think about Wigan especially after their Grand Final heartache against them.
The Cherry and Whites are signing Tiaki Chan from the the Dragons as well as centre Adam Keighran to replace Toby King as he returns to Warrington Wolves after his loan spell at the club.
Their biggest signing is that of former St Helens star and 2019 Harry Sunderland Award winner Luke Thompson.
But even that signing could be dwarfed by a move for Owen Farrell which has been rumoured by a number of people for so long.
However, he is not the only rugby union star Wigan have been linked with. The Warriors reportedly made a move for former St Helens star Regan Grace.
Grace left St Helens at the end of 2022 to join Racing 92 in Rugby Union. But the Warriors, among other clubs, made an offer for him.
However, it has been confirmed by the Rugby Paper that the offer has been turned down by Grace who wants to remain in Rugby Union.
His one year deal is close to expiry but it seems he will renew the deal and remain in the 15 man code for now.
