NRL reporter Michael Chammas has revealed that Parramatta Eels winner Blake Ferguson was indeed set to be selected for the Australian squad that would take on New Zealand and Tonga on the last weekend of October and first weekend of November.
It has been revealed that Blake Ferguson pulled out of the Prime Minister’s 13 squad to take on Fiji due to a leg injury.
This seemed odd to selectors as Ferguson had been cleared days earlier and since had not shown signs of injury.
This has resulted in the winger not being selected for the Australian first team, after reportedly being listed for selection.
This was set to be Ferguson’s first appearance in the green and gold in two years.
